Current Vacancies:

Domestic Appliance Service Engineer – St Austell

We are looking for a motivated individual with a friendly, positive attitude, a professional and smart appearance, highly organised with a desire to deliver excellent customer service.

You will form a part of a team 9 engineers across Cornwall & Devon: The role will be covering the Mid and West Cornwall area and duties will include servicing, diagnosing and repairing a wide range of white goods and domestic appliances either in our customer’s home or at the workshop.

Previous experience and a basic knowledge in repairs and electronics are essential and ongoing support and product training will be provided.

An attractive salary package will be commensurate with experience.

Applicants must be physically fit as this job does involve some heavy lifting and possess a full clean UK driving licence.

This is a permanent position with a minimum of 40 hours per week including Saturdays, with opportunities for overtime.

There will be a 6 month probation period and a full DBS check will need to be completed prior to successful employment being confirmed.

Traineee Domestic Appliance Service Engineer – St Austell

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are looking for a long-term career to be trained as a qualified Domestic Appliance Service Engineer.

The successful candidate must demonstrate an interest and knowledge in repairs as well as electronics and engineering.

Candidates must also demonstrate a friendly, positive and organised attitude towards work with a desire to learn and train for a long-term career.

Training will be provided by our experienced in-house team of engineers. Once fully qualified duties will include servicing, diagnosing and repairing a wide range of white goods and domestic appliances either in the field or at our workshops.

Applicants must be physically fit as this job does involve heavy lifting, possess a full UK driving licence.

This is an ongoing training contract and you will have the opportunity for it to be made permanent based on performance. The job itself entails minimum 40 hour, 5 days a week including Saturdays, with opportunities for overtime during busy times.

Salary is dependent on experience but obviously this is training wage with a view to significant increases once fully trained and able to work as an independent engineer – We would expect this process to take between 6-12 month depending on the individuals existing knowledge and progress during this time.
