AEG IKB84401FB 78cm wide5 Zone induction hob with front-mounted Direktouch touch controls and MaxiSense technology for maximum flexibility for your pan placement - as long as the pan covers one of the crosses, it will be heated. Each cooking zone features 15 stages of power and a booster for rapid heating. A child safety lock prevents the hob from being accidentally turned on, whilst a control lock prevents changes to the hob settings once activated. Induction technology allows for faster heating, whilst a PowerBoost button offers even quicker heating - boiling a pan of water in just 90 seconds. It also responds quickly to changes in settings, with almost instant temperature settings offering gas-like responsiveness. This hob has Hob2Hood, a useful feature that automatically controls your cooker hood and lights. It means you don’t get distracted by trying to regulate the fan when you’re at crucial cooking moments: you can simply concentrate on getting your dish right. But if you’d rather adjust the fan speed yourself, there are manual controls on the hob too.
