The new Cyrus I9-XR  high quality amplifier and digital to analogue converter offering 91 Watts per channel and featuring the new 2nd gen version of the award winning QXR DAC. Its built-in digital to analogue converter reads the highest 24-bit files and transforms them into the music your speakers love in high definition. The I9-XR delivers surprising audio performance and value because it is based on the advanced pre amplifier circuitry from the DAC XP Signature; benefiting from a ‘trickle down’ of Cyrus's most advanced technology.

The bi-wire output of the I9-XR gives a full 91 Watts into 6 ohms. The power supply is a high current design that uses two transformers to completely separate the digital control stages from the sensitive audio signals. The I9-XR features a high performance 24/192 DAC bringing optical and coaxial inputs and a driverless USB connection, allowing plug and play connectivity to a PC or laptop. Four analogue inputs, a high quality headphone amplifier, Zone 2 and pre amplifier outputs gives the i(-XR outstanding flexibility for connecting to a wide variety of audio devices. The microprocessor controlled operating system in the I9-XR allows extensive programming of many functions within the unit. Input naming, differing display readouts and input volume matching across all sources are just some of the possibilities.
