Our St Austell Superstore hosted a “Big Summer Blowout” event last weekend; featuring in-store demonstrations and brand representatives, it was a chance for our customers to come out and see for themselves what some of the brands we stock are all about.
Shark/Ninja
Naturally, we had to have Ninja (part of the SharkNinja family) come down to demonstrate their multi-cookers. Due to the huge demand for air fryers, we found ourselves (along with every other retailer in the UK) a bit… lacking in the air fryer department. So, our lovely Ninja brand rep focused her demonstrations on Ninja’s multi-cookers – which do also air fry, among many other things!
The Ninja stand was populated with lovely guests throughout the majority of the day, with our St Austell sales advisers nearly running out of Ninja stock altogether – proving just how popular small cooking appliances are right now. 😲 (Although, the potato wedges and sausage rolls probably helped, too…)
Shark were kind enough to give away a vacuum cleaner to our customers who attended the event. Here are the winners of the prize draw with our sales adviser in St Austell, Sophie.
Magimix
We were also joined by small appliance giants, Magimix! They were kind enough to demonstrate some of their high-quality food processors and blenders – with many event-goers indulging in the tasty treats they prepared throughout the day. Magimix is always a favourite with our foodie customers looking to streamline their cooking process, and this event proved no different. Magimix were also kind enough to bring some freebies to give away to anyone who treated themselves to a new Magimix appliance on the day. 🥰
Needless to say, with Ninja and Magimix both with snacks on the go throughout the day, the smell of the store was pretty enticing! 😋 Some of us HBH folk may have also gotten to sample some bits… (perks of the job)!
Quooker
Another customer favourite who joined us for the event was Quooker. Offering demonstrations and information about their incredible hot taps and the benefits of having one – especially now with utility bills on the rise – they proved to be a big hit with people interested in having one in their own kitchen.
Quooker treated attendees to some freebies and some cake, too. 😁
Sony
And finally, for our home cinema enthusiasts, we had to invite Sony along to show off their incredible range of TVs and soundbars – and show off, they did!
The fantastic Sony rep offered product advice and demonstrations to event-goers, with a few people even finding their perfect new TV or soundbar on the day! 😁
