From the inventor of television to a global, traditional company
The history of Loewe began in 1923 when the brothers Dr. Siegmund and David Ludwig Loewe laid the foundation stone for in Berlin. At the time, they probably had no idea that their pioneering vision would have a significant impact on the history of entertainment.
The revolutionary breakthrough was achieved by Dr. Siegmund Loewe and Manfred Ardenne as they achieved the first full-electronic television image demonstration in Europe in December 1930. The historic achievement utilized a Braun Tube with innovative deflection plates, paving the way for modern television technology. This invention of the first television set marked the beginning of a new era in entertainment culture worldwide.

Designed, developed and produced at Loewe’s headquarters, the new Loewe stellar is a true craft design TV with selected real materials, an OLED panel customised by Loewe and surprising moments of magic. 100% Made in Germany, with a unique concrete back panel and brushed aluminium frame, this TV combines cutting edge technology and marvel draft design. Made possible by the company´s own OLED display module production. From the integration of the Open Cell into the display module through to final assembly, Loewe is the first and only manufacturer in Europe to design, develop and build their television sets from the ground-up for quality and craftsmanship that can be relied on for years to come.
